Summer Spanish Courses

Hi all,

Here are the tentative details for our Summer Spanish courses:

We will be offering both Spanish 1 and 2 so that we can accommodate as many of you as we can. (Please remember: the foreign language requirement is a State of NH requirement and we cannot waive it. The requirement can be met through course work–e.g., two semesters of college level study of a foreign language–and/or demonstration of second language proficiency.)

The tentative dates are as follows:

M/W course (Spanish 1) starting June 1 and ending August 5 with Monday, July 7 off for the 4th of July weekend. Time: 3:30 p.m.-5:50 p.m. Location in Nashua to be determined.

T/Th course (Spanish 2) starting June 2 and ending August 6 with July 3 off for the holiday weekend. Time: 3:30 p.m.-5:50 p.m. Location in Nashua to be determined.

The format and times for these courses were chosen so that we could accommodate summer school teachers and meet the number of hours required to fulfill a semester of Spanish at the college level.

Your instructor will once again be the dynamic and dedicated Tony Rolon. He is a native speaker of Spanish and has taught at both high school and college levels. He is also very accommodating and will work with you to address potential time conflicts as they arise.

Please email gatecityunh@gmail.com if you intend to take one of these courses and indicate which level you will be taking.

Gracias!
